'78-9 GJS - GJS 'A' frame w/ GJS forks

  • Galindo bars w/ Oakley .5 grips
  • Weinnmann 7B style rims
  • Tioga cranks w/ Suntour XC-II pedals
  • Pro Neck layback

'78 Quadangle - SE Racing loop rear Quad frame w/ Bottema Racer forks

  • SE Power wing bars w/ ESP Flying 'W' stem
  • Araya 7X 48 spoke rims w/ Bullseye hubs
  • Takagi cranks w/ Suntour XC-II pedals

SE test plated approximately 5 frames but didn't like the quality. Those test frames ended up with some of their pros of the time (Rod Beckering, Toby Henderson, etc.). People have had Quads plated on their own. Still researching this frame's history.

'84 Redline Proline Series 3 - Redline Proline frame & fork

  • Redline Forklifter bars & Brute stem
  • Redline Flight 401's w/ Shimano DX pedals

This project started out as a sticker set. Once we found the first Z rim we knew it was meant to be.

FRAMES/FORKS

Thruster Tri-power frame w/ Thruster II forks. Still looking for the elusive Thruster Power stem & Power bars. I bought the frame over the Internet. Turned out that the original forks were cracked at both dropouts. Luckily I had come into the Thruster II forks a few months before.

'77 Peddlepower SR frame w/ Powerlite forks. Since this picture we came into older Powerlite Pro forks w/ front loading dropouts. Those will be a better match for the frame. Peddlepower changed their name to Powerlite around '78. There was another company using the Peddlepower name. They used both names on their frames while transitioning to the Powerlite brand name.

'81 Panda Pro Am Replica frame & fork. Found this pair in a local shop along with a 24" Panda Power Cruiser frame (candy red) and another Pro AM replica frame (candy green). All NOS w/padding still on the frames. Slowly bought all 3. Pic of the finished cruiser to come.

'75 Yamaha Moto Bike - We received this bike just as it is. The original owner VERY GENEROUSLY donated it to us. He knew he could sell it but didn't know the value. He wanted it to go to someone who would appreciate it and not turn around and resell it. We're lucky to have such good friends.

'77-8 Cook Bros. frame & fork - This project is on hold until we have all the components. We have the Slant Line stem, sealed bb, cranks & seat post clamp & frame pad. Still looking for Cook Bros. hubs, bars & seat post. The finished product will have blue Araya 7B's, Shimano Tourney brakes, MKS BM-& pedals & Carlisle Aggressors.

Panda Power Cruiser - Found the frame sitting in a local shop, along with two 20" frames (a green one and a blue f/f). Bought all three over time. The cruiser sports Tange TX-1200 forks and Pro Neck(?) bars. The Tuff II's were found at a swap meet and have matching IRC Racer tires.

DG frame & fork - We wound up with two pair of DG forks, but didn't have a frame. Oddly enough, we met up with someone who had two frames and no forks. With a little trading we wound up with this project. My brother painted the frame, but wheels are our biggest hold up. I'm working on a set of yellow Tuff I's that'll suffice until we can lace up some alloys.

Team Jag - This is a recent find. My brother picked it up at a local shop. The bike's completely original. Mongoose stem, sprocket and seat post clamp, Tuff I's and the waffle seat. Haven't started work on it yet, and may not. It's fun to have an original bike in original condition.
