JOY PHOTO GALLERY
Yamaha Motobike C Model - I bought it as a basket case, stripped
it, repainted and had new stickers made. Soon to have a double again.
Brush with shame: In my day, I lost to some of the best! (I'm in
The Bike Gallery Jersey and number 87) Brent Patterson showing me
how to speed jump...
Darrell Young being Darrel Young. There was a time when DY and I
were the only guys to do this. Note I can't anymore...DY still can.
Clarence Perry and Scott Clark leading me out of the gate (Note
the one pedal starts).
What's a trip down memory lane without the obligatory Afro shot.
This hair was actually a factory option for me. No perm here! Stupid
thing was this was at a auto show and the jump shot you strait up
with a very hard landing on concrete. I guess I thought the "hair
Helmet" was enough protection...
Kevin Jackson taking the inside line....But hey I pulled off the
win this time...
Redline 16" Squareback - This has basically the same history as
the Mono. Same individual, same basement and it just hung there.
The nice thing about both bikes is the drop outs were not even scratched
at all. Very clean nickel after removing 25 years of oxidation.
Then Tuff Wheels looked new!
Redline Mono Shock - This frame and fork was carried into the Bike
Gallery in the late 70's by a guy looking for some cash. It was
later sold to an individual who built it into a GPV bike. It hung
most of the past 20 years on a basement wall with a faring, slicks
and no cranks. All NOS parts except the cranks that were in excellent
shape. It now is in the possession of SBS/Redline.
